Don't know how much help this will be because I don't know the maker of my bag. ??? I took all the patches and crap off it and can't find the receipt or anything. But I had the camera out and thought at least an idea of what's out there might help someone.

It compreses pretty small and I just tuck the flaps under the seat to hold it in place. It doesn't shift, it's locked in, and easy on/off.

It puffs up big enough to carry more than a 12 pack of Sam Adams and a gallon of milk. I haven't toured or anything with it but should be big enough for a pair of scivies and your 9mm.

It zips off to leave the flaps in place on the bike (locked down by the seat) and has a carrying handle and backpack straps. Seems durable enough for my use and I'm sure I didn't pay more than $50.

there are no tags/ writing on the inside of the bag from the maker? I'd definitely buy that for 50 bones..

I truly wish I could figure out who made it, cause now the 'ol lady has got it strapped to the back of her FZ1. No tags on the inside. I've gone through my old emails and internet history and can't even remember from what site I bought it. :loser:

i was thinking maybe just the rubber washer looking thing around the latch pin
The latch pin doesn't get that far down where that's in the way because of the thickness of the flaps tucked under the seat.

I just used the straps, running them under the seat and clipping together. so far, so good. ;)
The back pack style straps that come with it?

My other option is to take my bungee net and use that under the tail and attach it to the D-rings on the bag if I can get enough tension.
