Anyone had luck with Tuneboy on a mac?

So what's the verdict here? Does tuneboy software run on the latest intel based Apple laptops? I remember someone saying having problems with uploading a tune, but did it ever work out?

So it should work through win xp installation through bootcamp?

Now Hooligan, You know there are rule against linking to other sites that may be helpful. We are the only site that matters, and if there is something people should know that's not here they need to go find it themselves. Please don't make me put down my organic coffee and paper on spotted owl protection to ban you! :fingure:
;D
OK so I got myself a macbook. Now I really need to find a way to make this work ;D

I just installed parallels for mac and will install xp or vista on it. I'll see how that goes and report back to y'all. :wrench:
Use XP, not Vista.

I am NOT impressed with Vista thus far, and never had issues with XP.

You said it...I just bought a new laptop and I lucked out...they still had some with XP.
OK. So I got Win XP pro installed on Parallels. Kinda sweet system I'd say! Tomorrow we'll see if I can get the USB interface to work. If it works I'm veeeryy glad about my purchase and the fact that I resisted the urge to get a zapper PC laptop. But we'll see...
Hehe. Tried to update my phone's software through Nokia PC suite and the phone died.. Not very good start... :violent1: :twofinger:
Oy...any luck with Tuneboy on the macbook??
Won't work through parallels or similar application. You need a separate partition and fresh WinXP installation.
Partitioning your drive with DiskUtility is easy, but that's not how I'd do it.

If I were you I'd pick up a smallish external FireWire drive and install your XP system on it. Then boot from the external drive when you need Tuneboy. No need to complicate your internal drive that way, and you won't have to reinstall your system.
HOLY DEAD HORSE BATMAN!!! :horse: :horse:

But here I am in the same position - new (to me) PowerBook G4 and G5 Pro. Both running OS 10.4.9, and I really want to get TuneBoy loaded on the G4. Premmie, did you ever come up with a workable solution, or did you just throw your old laptop up on a shelf somewhere for TB use only?
I made a new partition and installed XP on it. No problem.
i had no problem with mine. Macbook with xp on a vm fusionware virtual machine.

Forget it with the G4 or the G5. You'll have to have an intel mac to make it work.
Oh yeah. Good point :d:
Do like Crash suggested and but an external USB hard drive (250 GB is less than $100) and install Windows XP on the drive. You will eventually use the extra storage and you won't have to throw an extra partition onto your pristine Mac's hard disk. That's the way to go.
