Yesterday I help out the UHP motor squad with a bicycle race. The Race started near Park City and went to Evanston Wy. What a fun job. We mostly helped traffic around the cyclists, but the road was amazing. I didn't think to take a camera, but I will when I go back to it on Speedy. Riding up a mountain in 1st gear at 15 mph is not the Harleys idea of fun as it over heated and caused me to drop it twice during a couple of low speed u- turns. It just didn't want to run till I got on the downhill side. 270 miles total. What a day at work Huh.

Yeah- big, vibratory, air cooled, antique engines are so much better than liquid cooled smooth power plants.

This was your work bike, right? When are you going to talk your department into 1050 Sprint ST's? That would be cool.

A Rocket III would be better.

A Rocket III would be cooler, but better? I dunno. I don't think it would look right with Police saddle bags, radio gear, and all the other necessary gadgets on a Police bike. It also wouldn't look right with a full fairing.

More comfortable? Probably.

Faster? I doubt it.

More frightening to the bad guys? You freaking bet!

How bout a tiger? I bet it could handle bombing down a set of stairs, plently of power, hard bags etc. Better yet a black and white speedy, picture the bug eye lights set up to wig-wag, hot!
