Well, I have been off bikes for over 15 years. (fractured L1, ruptured spleen, some knee and wrist ouchees too) I finally took the plunge and after a good bit of shopping around decided on a 2007 GREEN S3. ;D

I picked it up at 4 PM and have put a measly 25 miles on it today (how do you people keep this thing under 3500RPM for the first hundred miles!!! ??? )

Anyway, I'll be pestering the lot of you on the best integrated taillight assy, pipes, etc. etc. Very soon. Nice forum site by the way. It makes me happy I didn't go for the Super Duke 8)

Read the ATTN 1050 owners thread in the 1050 model year discussion and look at the ultimate exhaust thread for your aftermarket pipe needs. :wrench: Most of the stickies will provide the answer to 80% of your questions! Then ask all the questions you want.

The day I picked up my bike I had it well over 7000 grand on the tach before I even made it home. Under 3500 for the first 100 miles? It can't be done.
