I'm changing the fluid on my '06. This is probably a stupid question but is there any difference between the Valvoline SynPower that "Exceeds DOT 3 and DOT 4 specifications" that you can find at the local auto parts place and the Motul stuff from the bike shop? Other than price? What do you guys use?

OMG....I can't believe I'm agreeing with Limey. Someone shoot me... wned: I like Bel Ray products also. I do however use the Valvoline SynPower in my cafe'd CB400F.

I tend to use Motul 600 in many vehicles that see hard brake use (lots of heat), and Valvoline SynPower in daily drivers - like my truck.
Casterol SRF is hands down the best fluid I have ever used, but very expensive - I leave it to the racers.
