The yellow ones are easy to spot.....since they're slower.
I have yet to see another matte black speedy coming at me...that must mean...uhm..something.

When I bought my bike there was a new yellow '06 speedy up for sale....the guy who bought it had it repainted in matte black and he swears that the bike is faster now...I shit you not!
