Does Speedy have a weak light beam? I can't see shit when riding during the night...

What can be done? Different bulbs?? Don't want to fuck up the reflectors though....

It shouldnt be that bad unless therer is something wrong with the bulbs or your eyes

I aimed mine up just a touch, and it made a world of difference. You can get new bulbs, but don't go above around 3,500-4,000k in color. Any higher and they start to get blue. Not only does that look squidly, your eyes can't see it as well. Especially depth perception! Even better yet, get some Adjure light to replace the factory reflectors. They look awesome, and throw a better light pattern down the road. Next best thing to projector beams.

When mine arrived the lights were pointing up to the sky. Still passed inspection though which was strange. They prolly need adjusting like the other chap said

funny, when I looked at you're pics I thought to myself...man his lights are pointing to the ground?
Mine are up high, almost everbody I meet flashes at me when I drive at night (not girls that is, which is to bad by the way)...I put up with it because I see much better! ;D

I ride to work in the morning in the pitch black and mine seem fine,can see lots of little and big critters easy,and then there's the fauna. Try adjusting them before you buy new bulbs,ride on. :drink:

mine also appear weak, usable but compared to newer bikes they are not so strong. I think I will look into these.. remember mine is an 04 955 lights are traditional, I think the 1050s have newer tech.
