Well I've just done trying out the stock Triumph tune for the Arrows thingie. Seems to be a good tune. I'm at the mo trying out the same tune but has had Devi's magic wand waved over it. I do have the complete Zard system so any final tune might not be compatible with the Zard can/stock header combo.

Any chance of anyone chucking in a FULL Zard system. How about Annitori? Seems it would be in their interest if they could contribute (lend?) a full system, and have proper maps for their hardware (full and slipon).

Some variables should be nailed.

Fuel octane as per Trumpet reccomendation.
Most will have an after market air filter so use the BMC, forget the stock item.
Anyone running a baffled Zard? Didn't think so.
Not sure about SAI but methinks most will have gutted it out. Kuhlka can verify.

So with the above as base lines the variables should be

Stock header
Stock header with precats removed
Bob's Headers
And if I'm lucky the Zard full system.

If you feel like doing a few more pulls then I'd suggest besides full power maps, economy versions of the above would also be nice.

CB and Devi if you can get hold of the full Zard I'd gladly chip in.

I hate to say it Avi8or, but I don't think I will have the time to stay long enough for the Zard full header too.
how does fine tuning the Zard, baffle out, NO SAI, modded header, BMC filter sound 1st,

Pity that, Annitori could have had a map developed for their system by the Great Devi himself no less. Oh well maybe at some future date.....keeping toes crossed....

Regarding rest sounds good but a map for those unable/unwilling to mod header makes sense.

Here's what I've been getting mpg (imperial) wise, these are actual litres put in tank vs distance travelled on the GPS corrected speedo (odometer), average of three tankfuls, city driving, 50% with pillion:
Mod 9 tune 20088Tune_dyno39 Zard full exhaust system. 29.9 mpg
Arrows Stock tune 32.8mpg
Devi's mod 2 of above 34.5 mpg

All the above tunes have no throttle response glitches.

I ran it today and was VERY happy. It eliminated the surging I was experiencing at 4.1-4.7k and kept throttle response pretty good. Butt dyno says small drop in power. 3mpg bump in mileage (all highway).

Dfib, what tune are you running?
