Compression damping adjuster is stuck

1814 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  littlefield
I was just adjusting the suspension on my 1050 speedy and noticed that the compression damping adjuster screw (the one on the right hand side) turns only about 1 rev. It doesn't screw in fully like on the left hand side.

I wonder what has happened here. Is there a way to fix this?

The one on the right hand side is not suppose to turn at all. It should have some punch marks on the head locking it in.
Hmm. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to move. On the user manual it's said to be a compression damping adjuster and there's instructions how to adjust it.

I'm talking about the one on the front forks. I know the one in the rear isn't supposed to move. Or at least that it doesn't ;D
That sucks guys. My 03 was fully adjustable at every point in stock form...
Sorry, I thought you were talking about the rear shock.
