It won't be the end of TriumphRAT.net for me. mbeebee finally gave in and is going to make the Aftermarket post a sticky, but still.... cmon. I'll probably bump my thespeedtriple.com post every once in a while to try and get a few new members to come over though. It'll be interesting to see if many T595.net peopel come over.

I think the bigger problem is when you do a search for Speed Triple Forum on google or anything of the like triumphrat pops up right away, for that matter a lot of things do. So the user base here might take a long time to build up.

Hope it does though as this is geared towards S3 owners, and sections it wonderfully....

Hey Boys! Thought I'd take a ride over to see what this forum is all about. Glad to see so many familiar faces already. I'm sure that I'll still be on several sites to enjoy my S3 jawing, but this one is as nice as any.

I really doubt it will be the end, all the new people go there first. It was the first forum I found relating to Triumph when I was searching through google.

I have no idea how to beat the system and get thespeedtriple.com in front of it in the search engines..

hey capt, glad to see ya made it on board. Yeah, rat is huge, and I intend to stick around there also. We can all just tell the newbie's over there to come check out this site also!

I think number of hits/web traffic is the biggest determining factor for whether a search engine points to your site or not. I think if we get a bunch of traffic and people posting up on here a lot we'll see the status go up in searches.

For example; my local bike group Toledo Sportbike Riders shows up multiple times and is at the top of the list for a search for TSBR. We have some guys on there who have posted over 1,000 times in the past month though...

I figure this place needs another Old Guy around to keep Cheep in line.

And of course it's another great way to kill downtime at work ;D
