I'm looking for people to ride with at night and/or on weekends when I'm not overloaded with assignments. Anyone in the area wanna meet up?

Here is another hint... Kinda obvious.

Damn, must be nice to have such a generous wife you lucky bastard!! Does your wife have a sister? ;D
Sorry, both are taken and not really into bikes other than dirt bikes.

Stopped into AMS today and the bike is at their other shop, hiding in a crate. Now I just have to wait a few more weeks for Autumn to give the go ahead to write a check. Sooo many accessories... MUST... WAIT.... SEW.. WALLET. SHUT!

Hoping to get the full termignoni system in the fall and some other miscelaneous bits over the winter. Still contemplating stripping down the 955i to get the frame & wheels recoated dark red and the bodywork repainted... Otherwise I'll send it off to get reworked or I'll find a Daytona motor for it. Right now it is VERY snatchy and needs some more smoothing out and various tweaks.
ANyone going to the sonic tomorrow? :)

Sorry pal, I gotta play a latin jazz concert tonight. But next week is open. I'll round up some guys, maybe Kulhka and Tekmoe, Spydy or a few others might join us for the exciting ride out to greasy heaven!!

When do people show up over there? Maybe I'll stop by. Never been before. Need to get out of the house anyways. At least it's not raining.
Got an address and a time you want to meet up? I've only got one huge project left which is due monday.
Myself and cwb4tx live close by, over in the uptown area. I'm ok with meeting anywhere around. I need to get out so am looking forward to meeting y'all.
I'll be out this afternoon after my oil change. Likely scouting roads around north and west of mckinney (unless someone can tell me where a good one is!!!)

I guess next weekend is when everyone frees up. Unfortunately My kiddo is coming into town for 6 weeks so I'll likely be out of pocket most of that time :(
Well, shoot me a PM sometime if you guys want to go riding this weekend or later this week. I only have one big assignment left this week due monday so I'll be free in the afternoon to go for a scoot and maybe people watch at squid night (haven't been to one yet). I might shoot down to the Amsterdam wednesday night. I was up til 4:30am last night working with team members on our 2 week prototype that was due today so today I'm a bit vegged.
I met cwb4tx at rpm cycles today. Happened to be there at the same time. He's got a nice bike. Pretty nice guy. We were talking about maybe going for a ride on Thurs. I am not free until 5pm. If y'all meet up before then, let me know where a good place to meet you at.
I get out of class at 5pm but wouldn't mind meeting up possibly for a burger or wings before I have to grind on a project for school.
tomorrow night? :)
Dude(s),
I've had the worst day, wait, week. I found out this morning that my bike was stolen. Oh but wait it gets worse. Last week my 4runner got broken into and my wallet, ipod, and my $2K stereo system was taken. And no, I never leave crap in my truck, but the one time. So now my one thing I have to keep me sane in this world is taken. I met cwb4tx the other day at rpmcycles and I puss out on a ride. The commute back home did it.
I keep going from anger to laughing, mostly back to anger though. I'm not a high stress guy at all, but I found some guys who didn't think I was nuts and wanted to just ride around. I better go, I'm going back to mad = holes in the walls.

Oh, I won't be able to make any rides for a few weeks. My head hurts now.
Its ok. If you want to hang out, just cage it. I hope you get a decent deal and had comprehensive coverage on the bike. Maybe get an 07/08 SE as a start for therapy. Or you could have some of the quack I've been smoking and buy a Duck.

I've got like $5,000 in accessory coverage for good reason. I hope they find the bastards who stole your bike. Might be a good idea to get an alarm installed on the next one. Although alarms won't stop people from throwing a bike in the back of a truck, it is still a semi-effective deterrent for most amateurs.
I am buying a rather large chain today. Pet's only 2 blocks away from me. That really bites PD, but I have confidence it'll work out well! :)
I think itll rain the rest of the week :( Not taking my bike to work today...
Thanks for the pep talk guys. I'm looking at moving and buying a place with a garage. My apartment is seeing what other options I have. I got a great deal on my apartment for where I live.

I've sent the paperwork into my insurance and he said it'll be two weeks. They want to see if it turns up before then. He also said that I'll get the full value of the bike plus my accessories. So I'm pretty much back to where I was a few months ago when I bought it.

The insurance guy also said that he's seen all sorts of anti-theft devices beat. I'll probably just get a brake lock thing that has an audible alarm. Just to deter small time amateurs like you said. I also found out that Lojack will not work across state lines and aren't what they are cut out to be.
Damn, sorry to hear that Pet. Hopefully you'll get yourself a new bike out of all this if yours doesn't turn up. Stay positive bro', shit will work out in the end, and when it does, all us Texas boys can go for a ride with your ass on your new bike!!! ;D

Well, if you end up with a new bike, read the engine break in thread. You may end up gaining a few horsepower and a cleaner engine out of the deal if you believe the reports and didnt follow that advice already on the first bike...
Would you guys ride yourselves out to the McKinney Town Lake tomorrow evening at 7:00pm please?

I need a fuggin audience. We had several hundred show up last week at Mesquite's Performing Arts Center to hear us. But I'm expecting a much smaller showing tomorrow night in McKinney.

Hey, it's free!!! and you can find some roads around McKinney to roost on.
