Curtis,

Well, let's see here. These (below) are the remaining Track Days I'm aware of in DFW (from the other thread). The 15th, 23rd or the 29th look best for me personally. I know the Lone Star and Eurosport guys and they do good, sane track days. The 23rd deal with the Buell is a great value. The cost is reasonable and you get to test drive the 1125R. So, I'd work pretty much any OR ALL of those into my schedule if you want to. Lemme know.

Kerry

Advanced Motorsport (Euro bikes only) - Motorsport Ranch Cresson Oct 13 - 14 (two day event $400)

Lone Star TDs - Motorsport Ranch Cresson Oct 15

RideSmart - Eagle Canyon Raceway Oct 15 (if track is ready)

<<<<<<NEW TRACKDAY LISTING>>>>>>
InsidePass - Motorsport Ranch Cresson Oct 23 - This is a Buell sponsored day, so you ride your bike, but you get to test ride the new 1125 from Buell. Cool. And they'll be using the 3.1 mile track. Very cool.

I'm riding out to the Sonic in Parker/St.Paul this evening at 6:30 or so. Anyone's welcome to come out. No big deal, just a nice little ride and a case of indigestion.

The cone thing soundz fun, very fun.

Good little hang tonight with some of the DFW S3 guys. C-Dub and Kuhlka and me and some of my cruiser riding buds had some catfish and beer at Twin Peaks. Can you guess why they call it that?

Turns out C-Dub is a lady killing machine. In the figurative sense. Come on C-Dub, tell us how that turned out with Dixie.

Here;s the post from DFW SBR forum for next saturday:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well it's time for another Obstacle Fun Day...

cone killing time

Saturday, October 20th starting at 11am

and riding until the last rider wears out. (or the sun goes down) on the banks of the Trinity river. Doesn't get much better.

We'll be having it at the Shriners Motor Corps building in downtown Fort Worth.

Here's a map:

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.ad...h&state=TX&zipcode=76107&country=US&geodiff=1

Please note that the actual pad is over the levee from the building.. feel free to ride bikes over the hill but be careful as it is gravel and ussaly rutted and makes an almost a 180 turn at the top

water and soda's are provided.

And we will be having burgers and such as well, donations for the food will be gladly accepted with a kitty jar inside

bring the kiddo's and SO's for a all around fun day.

Don't feel like risking your street bike on a tight obstacle course.. fine, come out and try it on one of a couple '81 kz440's they are built to take it.

Great fun and a great way to improve your low speed street skills that translates into greater confidence at all speeds

I'm going with my cruiser buds for a breakfast run on Sat morning. We wont be strafing, but a chance to ride nevertheless and hang out and get your weekly helping of bacon, grits etc up in Aubrey. If you want to go...send me an email at [email protected] I'll let you know later exactly where we be riding to later on.

I'm surprised you wont do the cone thing in FT Worth. I worry a bit for Marvin but I'm taking him through it. :)

I also highyl recommend taking a shot with the DFW SBR guys Suinday morning... here is the details f where they meet. (I'll be there Sun):

Lucas Gas station in Lucas, Tx.

Take 75 North of Plano and exit Bethany (in Allen). Go east for 6 miles or so. You will pass Greenville, Jupiter, and Allen Heights road. Then there will be 2 stop signs after that followed by two more stoplights. One at 1378/Country Club Road by the Lucas City Hall, then the second by the Lucas Gas Station. The gas station is on the left at the second traffic light after the 2 stop signs.

We typically park on the far corner of the lot, right off the street. If you don't see us, just wait there! We typically wait around for 10-15 minutes for you guys running late. Please try to be on time!

The cone thing looks very fun. I would love to do that sometime. I used to go the Richardson Police practice area where they had the course painted on the asphalt.

I've got an early afternoon commitment this Sat. to get back to (my son is testing for the next belt in TKD). But I'll try an SBR ride soon.

thanks, Kerry
