Ok, I've got a line on an 02 955i motor and need to know about headers. Could I buy a Sprint ST's, or use my existing header and just run bigger mandrel-bent stainless tubes, or would I have to buy an actual 02-06 955i Daytona header and modify that?

Also, does anyone know of any decent aftermarket headers for 955i daytonas?

Isn't the Daytona motor the same as as your triple motor on the outside? I would think the whole motor would swap right in using your existing header.

Hi you could use your speed triple headers but it will not run the best, as they are too small for a Daytona motor would probably give more low-down power and less up top, and a lot of mapping would be needed easier to use Daytona headers that way you don't have to worry about making a new map up, just use a good Daytona map I have not seen aftermarket headers the 02-06 daytona only the 97 to 01 model.

Well are the mounts the same? I'm wondering if I could just hack off the inlet ends that bolt to the motor and then run bigger ID pipe through a mandrel bender and weld it all together...

Hi Kuhlka I might have a header you can use?
Recently I bought a TOR can for a Daytona on ebay.
I'm still waiting on it since it was shipped from UK.
I have the oem header on my 01 RS and also a header from a Daytona.
Depending on how well the can will fit I will have a spare header.
The Daytona header is the one with the exhaust can being oval and I believe it was used on an S3 as well?
