I've noticed, looking at pics of member bikes and other Speedy photos in the media, whatever - no matter what pipe, fender, configuration, the Speed Triple always looks best from behind!! That big fat-ass tire, the pipes, the bobbed rear bodywork...do you think they knew early on that this bike was going to be seen from that aspect so frequently?

I doubt they would have left the stock rear plastic the same if the did. But maybe so... it is easy to remove. ;D

It does beg the following question which may lead us to the underlying cause of the emphasis upon the S3 and its "rear view"......

Maybe the later S3s are different, but my stock 2005 mirrors worked GREAT at looking at my elbows and nothing else.

Seems like there are a lot of us "ass" men out there, I love looking at speedy at the 3/4 rear right angle. I usually get caught by my girl with a beer in one hand just staring at the damned bike like it's a puerto rican whore sprawled out in the garage.
