Rear wheel should fit just fine, you'd need the 05+ front end to fit the front though...

Good thing is that the front end is a direct swap, so I'm told. The guys at Racecomp.com.au have a frankentriple with parts from all different S3s 98-06.

Yeah the rear wheels all fit as the rear hub is the same from 97-06 daytona/speed triple. The problem is the front end is different on the 05+ so the front wheel requries some possible mods to fit. I know there is no front wheel driven speedo, and you'd need 97-04 rotors to fit the front wheel, but I'm not sure if there would be any other changes...

The 1050 front axles are 25mm diameter. What about the older models? I got a set of Marvic wheels for my 06. The back fit right on but the front came with 20mm ID bearings. Had to fit new bearings, make some spacers, etc. but the end result is nice. The Marvic/BT002 combination is 4 lbs lighter than the stock wheels with Pilot Powers.

I'm not sure what the actual axle diameters are for the 02-04 wheels, but the axle is significantly smaller. I'm having to decide between using my stock wheels, or a t595 set I got on ebay. The rotor bolt pattern is even different (t595/509 = 6, 02-04 955i = 5...). I don't know why the heck they switched around like that, but its going to make me sell a front wheel on ebay if I can't get the 595 wheel to fit my front wheel speedo.
