New to Triumphs and have an 02 Speed Triple.
Rear brake seems useless. Have cleaned disk with 3m pad, brake cleaner and replaced pads. No difference. Disk is a bit grooved but not extreme.
Front brakes work but the bike dives up and down when applied. No pulse through the lever - lever is smooth. It's as if the brakes grab and release and seems worse at low speeds. Have not replaced pads.
Love the bike! Thanks for any thoughts...

Scotchbrite or even sand the front discs to remove pad material then re-bed the pads. You may get more rear braking if you bleed it but I think the 02 were pretty weak from the get go. I rarely use the rear except sitting at a stop but my 06 works well enough.
