She's a smokin' hot red head...

2005 Ducati 999 - completely bone stock. I've got a nice set of Rizoma red billet grips that are going straight on, and I'm mailing my Pazzo levers back to exchange them for Duc levers. She came with 4300 break in miles and a voucher for a completely free 6000 mile service. Hell yeah!

Sorry, I had to pick on you now that you have a Duc, especially a sick Duc like a 999... Its quacktastic! I'd love to have one of those. I wouldn't screw with it nearly as much as my S3 and it'd be my race/bikenight/sunday ride bike.

Now that I've had my first few hundred miles on it, I'm seriously in love with it and amazed at the sheer power it has got. It's geared REALLY tall. A lot of guys go down 1F and up 3R. With -1 in front you apparently do 50mph in 1st gear @ 6500rpm. I hit the rev limiter in 1st at 83mph with the stock gearing. I was idling through the tighter corners in 1st.

Other than a sprocket change, an open clutch cover and an slip-on, I don't know that there's a lot I would do. Ask me in 6 months, I know...

I don't have a pipe on it, so she's not very loud. Sounds incredible, even at low volume though! Freakin' slip-ons are ungodly expensive for these bikes! The Zard full system is $3500! It's stupid. It's "only" $1500 for the S3. Leo Vince slip-on is $1800! Freakin' Italian Bike Tax.

My bike will remain quiet for a long while...
