The only place I've ridden that compared to Deal's Gap was the Peloponese penninsula in Greece. The view of the Medi is breathtaking with lots of switchbacks and nothing but a cliff and the sea on the south side of the road.

Horse Shoe!?!? That's less than 30 minutes from my door! We MUST get a ride together soon. One off my first long rides on Speedy took me across DuPont, Jeter Mtn, then that sweet road I can't remember that runs from Crab Creek all the way over to Davis Mtn - winding along the river at 80-100 mph...OMG it was so kewl!
