At 3,900 miles the bike you're looking at is barely run-in yet. You might want to check the normal maintenance items: check tire wear, then clutch, throttle cables and chain (those three might need cleaning/lubing) and perhaps flush the coolant and change the oil to be on the safe side. Triumph makes pretty solid bikes, and they're just about as close to gas-and-go as anything else you can buy these days.
I bet you'll be very happy with the bike. IMHO, the 955/1050 triple is just about the ideal street motor, and when combined with the Speed Triple's good handling and ergonomics you've arguably got the best all-rounder available.
