I have the Pazzo shorties brake and clutch. No problems - the Triumph clutch is fairly easy to actuate compared to others. I like it everywhere except stop-and-go traffic.
Check the bottom end of your clutch cable for alignment. I found that the stamped steel bracket at the engine end needed a little tweaking with channel-locks to get the cable in line with the housing thru the entire lever range.
