I'm still hoping to put an exhaust system on my bike. However, having just bought a house, my budget is pretty tight. That pretty much precludes some of the high end sexy systems that are out there. I've been checking out the Jardine slip-ons. Has anybody used these? What's the consensus? Anybody got a set collecting dust in the garage that they'd like to unload for cheap? I'm not looking for max hp and torque. Mainly sound and looks. I'd like to be heard while I'm lane-splitting.

I started out with a set of Jardine's, but then switched to the Chainreactions. Nothing at all wrong with the Jardines. They sound great and give a mild increase in Horsepower. Figure 2-4 HP with a good tune. Mine dyno'd out at 116 rear wheel with only the TOR tune. They are fairly loud, but not as loud as the CRM's. The track measured me at 91 dB.

I have my Jardines (very slightly damaged- still useable) and would be willing to sell them super cheap, if you're interested.

Let me know.

I recently fitted a Jardine High-mount S/O and while the price was nice, so is the look and performance. It's a well turned out pipe, bolted on easy, and sounds great at the lower rpms than the TOR low-mount I had previously. Also provides a moderate hp boost over stock, but significant weight savings. There's also an optional baffle insert which lowers the db levels... if you want to play nice. :drink:

Yeah man, nothin at all wrong with the Jardine slip ons. It's louder than stock with a nice note, but not so obnoxious as to really piss off the local law enforcement or anything. Haven't dyno'd mine, so no reports there, seat of the pants likes them though.

Seems like HiVel had a set for sale at one time as well.
