Layin' Rubba

So I went out for a blast and really railed this corner, a fast sweepin' 90 degree bend with smooth pavement. Mid corner I let speedy have it, wide open in 2nd gear. I felt the back tire spin a little, and then a little more. After shitting my pants, I went back to look for a *****...and...nothing. Several attempts and crushed pride later I gave up. Anyone lay darkys like the guys with I4's @ the track with their S3. It felt cool spinnin' while movin, any squid can do a burnout.....

you can actually lay some long ******* without even feeling it spin that much. ;D I can't do it that much on roads that I don't know, but my local roads... ;D
I did the same thing last week. And I had a big long *****... in my shorts. I didn't go back and try it again.

When I first read the first post, this is what I thought he was talking about. Eeewwwww.
Almost every ride since I did the header work, I've felt the rear end step out a bit coming out of second-gear corners. The first time, the back tire was on the yellow line, but each time since it's been all sweet torque...

Strangely enough, it didn't sketch me out at all - it felt eerily normal for this bike to do that.
actually Kart, I'm really surprised that the Pilot Road you are running doesn't really step out with ya when riding. I can make speedy squirm pretty good with some 2nd gear turns on the Pilot Power. ;D Guess it goes to show ya what a more sport touring based tire will actually do! And I've seen Kart ride, he's no slouch. ;) ;D
I must have the wrong tires because when I went to the dragon on Pilot Powers my tires just gripped like a mofo and wore off the Michelin man after the first shot through. I did the entire Dragon in second.
