I installed this today. It came with the flat washer with 5 8mm holes in it that goes in the front of the muffler and the mid pipe seats against it. It looks like a shower drain. I have seen this in a vtx1800 muffler I cut open once.

Those 5 holes at .352 each didn't look near enough flow for this motor. I added 4 more .355 holes before I installed it. That should be enough flow. Will be interesting to measure the db on this slipon with the washer installed.

At 20 psi those 9 holes will flow aprox 395 cfm which should be enough. I dont know how many psi the 1050 produces at wide open.

I measured the volume with the shower drain in.
80db idle
90 db 5000 steady rpm
96db revved

Going to leave the shower drain in for now. The exhaust sounds really good.
