Here's a random thought I just had to help raise motorcycle awareness to those that need it most:

Carry a few of the MSF's "Start Seeing Motorcycles" stickers with you on the bike. When someone does something to endanger you that indicates they weren't paying attention, instead of road raging, yelling and screaming, or flipping the bird, simply hand them a sticker and say "Have a nice day!"

Certainly most people would be more receptive to getting a present than an earful of colorful language. Of course, it won't work in all situations but where it does it could be pretty effective. But it's my nature to be overly optimistic and expect the best out of people...

We have "Watch for Motorcyclists" stickers up here. They're bright green or orange. I see them everywhere.
