It's a bit of a long story. I hate stones making holes in my rad. So I checked with Beowulf if they made rad protectors for the 1050. They said no. So I sent off for a set of Mike's (before I even had the bike).
Imagine my surprise a few days later when I saw Beowulf advertise their guards on eBay.
To cut a long story short my Beowulf guards went missing, the bike arrived and I was pretty worried about my rads so Mike's went on the bike.
Beowulf sent a replacement which replaced Mike's as soon as they arrived. I prefered the stainless Beowulf to the black of Mike's.
The original 'missing' Beowulf turned up a couple of weeks later truly mangled.
So a now have three rad protectors. The original mangled Beowulf. The Beowulf on the bike and Mike's.
One hole in yer rad or oil cooler = a limp bike and mucho $$$$.
