Just got my Mivv delivered & it looks the nuts. I had a look in the fitting kit & there's a piece of rubber tube about 12mm dia & 50mm long, it's on the contents list but for the life of me I can't see where you'd use it plus they dont mention it in the fitting instructions. Did you get one to, any ideas what it's for?

I thought that as well but on the few bikes I've seen on the web with this pipe the spring is always exposed.

I haven't had a chance to fit it yet as I've got to take the pipe into work to drill out the rivet holding the baffle in, I'll probably get it put on early next week. I was quite surprised that the end can could rotate on the link pipe, I suppose this is to let you tweak the final position of the end can when your fitting it.
I am looking forward to hearing the bad boy though, my Trident titanium pipes I've got on at the moment look & sound fantastic but I fancied trying the single sided look (anybody fancy a pair for a good price, let me know)
