Hi,

Just in the process of buying a nuclear red 01 triple with 12000 on the clock... really looking forward to it!

The only thing is, it appears to only have a carbon oval can, Triumph one. Is this road legal, or would the bike have been originally fitted with a different one?

Where ya from? It should be road legal, although the correct term fer it, is Triumph Off Road. ;D I'm sure it depends on where yer from though. :wave: Welcome aboard, and nice color. :gayaway:

I have been looking around. It seems that the high level version isn't road legal, but the one on the bike is normal level... will be getting the high level one later methinks!

I got the high level on my 99 and it sounds great, Don't know if you plan on carrying sport panniers or saddlebags, they don't work with the high level! I don't think you will need pipes to have the loudest bike (Nuclear Red)

The other thing I noticed is that the rear pegs have to come off for the high level. So that makes it a bit of a no go... wife wouldn't like that!

Skyking sells a bolt set to allow the passenger peg to go on along with the hi mount can. It works well that way. :eboy:

yea, but they want a bit much for something you can easily make yourself at the local home depot... a couple long allen bolts, and a piece of aluminum tubing. presto!

picked it up on Saturday... one word... Awesome!

never had a bike tha turns so many heads! I love the standard can, sounds great!

only one thing... the throttle spring seems really strong.
