New member with question

Morning all

new member here, hoping someone can answer a question.

I have a 2006 speed triple 1050 with a Datatool S4 red. Ive been looking at disabling it.

Someone has been in at it before and seems to have done the usual blanking plug (bridged terminal 1-2 & 3-5)
However they did not remove the alarm (its still wired in and arms as usual)

I've been trying to take the alarm off the bike
I've disconnected the alarm unit by opening the block connector next to teh alarm unit and disconnected the plugs and removed the alarm unit. However the ingition is dead (looks like it's still immobalised even with the bridging connector)

Ive also bought a connector off ebay which doesn't work at all (even with alarm connected the bike is permanantly immobalised)
Ive manually bridged 1-2 & 3-5 using wire to see if its a faulty bridging connector but still no joy

Pulling my hair out now. any ideas would be appreciated
