Got a new penske rear and front fork work. All I can say is WORTH THE CASH.

The bike is much more stable when I move around on her. She doesn't get pissed now when I slide across the seat. Plus, I can break better (less dive). Also, when I twist the throttle, instead of the back wallowing, the bike shoots forward (or up).

It is like having a new bike. Yaaaaaaahaaaa. I love it.

Approx $750 for the rear installed and $500 for the work on the front. GMD Computrak did the work. Great guys. Seems like a lot, but honestly worth it (especially for a bigger dude, the stock suspension sucks if you are over 200 lbs) and they have great prices.

It was the first speed triple 1050 they had worked on and I guess taking out the stock rear shock sucked (mostly they work on Japanese race bikes). Although they said next time it wouldn't be that bad now that they know what is necessary. Also, the front forks are a little different from most bikes (but not hard to work on). The damping and compression is completely separate (one in each fork).

I've had bad experiences with dealers, but these guys run a small shop and know their shit.

It was GMD Boston. I can't speak for the other GMDs, but Peter at the Boston location knows his shit. The penske is a 8981 and the fronts were revalved.

Just realized I should have listed this under suspension. I've only been here a few times and I never looked all the way down. My bad.
