After a couple of PMs and emails, I broke down and checked the TRAT site and looked at a new thread there.

It seems that Kuhlka's friends at Metric Cycles in TX are diving into an S3 engine and will be posting up their progress on an engine build including head work. This should be interesting to see their progress and results.

It is well past time for some for the Pros in the industry to step up and work on an S3.
[Tell them to catch up. ;) ]

I applaud their interest and look forward to seeing what they find. :drink:

Still waiting to hear if it is a 955 or 1050.

I have just been sent a link to the :smiley-asskiss: rat site, knobend is on the case.
I looked at the site, looks like a nice guy. Knob is right about the mill though!

You can get some good results from kit like that don't knock it till you tried it knob :jerkoff: :jerkoff: :jerkoff: :jerkoff:..............

Maybe we could get him to post on this site? We can always use some fresh blood.
I think hes got a dyno too................

I think if Knob looks closer, he might find that it is a drill press. See the large 3 handles on the quill? There isn't a mill in the photo, but by the cutter in the press, it might get used as one:

I am tired of being the test mule. :horse:
Don't give us that bovine excrement. You love being the test mule, or you wouldn't do it. Just like I love putting my hands all over a room full of nearly naked hot women.

Crash - I like testing and learning what the engine wants. But I have spent a good bit of cash and time finding what doesn't work (always part of the process).

It would be nice to have Metric find something that works well, and let them spend their money and time developing it. Then I can just step in and copy it for my bike. ;D

Yeah, I know what you mean.

It's kind of like, "I really like the great sex, but I don't like all the money I spend taking her out to dinner and buying her jewelry and stuff." ;D ;D ;D

It would be so nice if some other guy would take her out, buy her a bunch of stuff, listen to her bitching, then bring her home for me to play with in the bedroom.

OR

Some other guy spends his money, gets her all hot and bothered, then video-tapes the results. Then you can whack off to the video! :jerkoff: OR try to get your wife to dress up in the other guy's girl's sexy clothes so she can get you off. :jerkit: :smiley-asskiss:

....I'm just funin' you. Everybody appreciates every penny you spend and hour you waste/burn working on your bike. Particularly those of us without the means to do so.

Cheers mate! :drink:

Have one on me when you get up this direction.

I shot Andy a PM telling him to check out this forum. Hopefully he'll be over to post.
Great!

Crash - :fingure:

I am hoping to do some final tuning to my bike when we test tune the new header. THEN I will release some great new tunes - with a good bit more advance at part throttle.

A satisfied customer here says: Andy does great suspension work too.

He's a genuine enthusiast, and Metric is my first choice whenever I need anything done to my bike that I can't (or won't) do myself. Andy's got a very practical, no nonsense approach to tuning for performance, and hopefully he'll share some of his thoughts about that subject here.
