Thought I’d join up on the forum and say hi!
Owned my 2011 white Speedy for just over a year – my first Triumph / triple. Had all the usual sports bikes, twins & fours & even ventured on a Vrod for a very short time…
My bike is slightly different from stock – it has a thumb brake under the clutch lever for the rear brake. All due to having half a right leg… thanks to Mr Boy Racer in his crappy XR2…
I find the engine / torque amazing – love the twin arrows (de-baffled!). Comfort is good too – although I’ve had to have the seat & bars raised by 30mm for a bit more legroom. I’m just in the process of having some peg brackets fabricated to drop the current pegs by 25mm – bit more comfy for my prosthetic leg!
Once done I’ll upload some pics.
