In keeping my promise to Peter (Wolf) here are some pics of my 03 S3 in both High and Low mount configurations.

Notice the recently added clipons... still trying to decide if I'll keep em.

IMO, the silver looks best with the stock handlebars. I had silver (and still have a set of silver plastics in the garage) before I went to black.

Andhedrew,

Few quick questions:

Which rad/oil covers are those?

CRG mirrors?

-Prestimp
hey prestimp, I think those covers are Rizoma. Very nice bike Andhedrew. I likes the high mount the best! ;D
Thanks fellas.

The Rad covers are indeed Rizoma. And the mirrors are CRG.

I've actually got Woodcraft clipons installed now too but have recently purchased a set of Raask adjustable Clubman bars that I'm going to try out when I get some time. I'll post new pics when I've made the change. Probably won't happen any time soon as I'm in Michigan and the weather has taken a turn for the worse - so don't anyone hold your breath!

+1 for high mount as well. Great looking bike for sure. I have alot of work to do....

Any chance of a quick (even horrid quality) of the Rad covers from the frontal area more? 1.7kmiles in 2 weeks and already picked up one nasty piece of tar in the upper left of the rad. Took about 20 minutes with a fine awl to straighten the fins.

I'll try to get better (close up) pics soon but you can take a look at these for now. Hope the pics help.

Rough price on the Rad guards? Or address for where you purchased?
Like the high mount but would like one on the other side as well ;D
Sorry I took so long to reply Prestimp...

I'm not sure on price or place to buy. The guards and CRG mirrors were the only aftermarket parts on the bike when I bought it. I once saw the guards on ebay a while ago. Not sure how much they went for.

No worries Andhedrew,

I am leaning towards black rad guards at the moment, still have not decided on the type. CRG's are going to have to be put on the bike before spring. I just cant see Jack on the stock mirrors.
Very classy bike!! Nice.
Nice pics of your '03, I like the high mount exhaust you've got put on there. What's that system sound like anyway? And was there any trouble remapping your computer for it?
I need a new exhaust on my '03 to show off that single arm and I am trying to find out what all these different exhausts sound like,
thanks

The more I see this bike, the more I like it. Very clean and classic.
Thanks for the comments guys. She is still a work in progress. Here is a pic in winter storage (crappy pic, I know) with Raask adjustable clubman bars.

I've never actually heard another S3 run so I can only compare the sound of my Trident to that of the stock can. It is definitely louder, growlier and more beautiful than the sound from the stock can.

I got the "race" version of the Trident and Peter was kind enough to send both the low and high mount pipe connectors. Liked the look of the high better but the low mount seemed louder.

The tune is Triumph's "performance" tune done at my local dealership (100 miles away) and for free... even though I didn't purchase my bike from them. Bike runs great but does do some popping on hard decel. Not concerned after having read in other forums that the popping was not harmful. I actually kinda like the popping.

looks really nice with the high level pipe on. It's worth showing that rear wheel off :) i've not picked my S3 up yet (4pm today - can't wait!) and i'm already looking for an exhaust to replace the standard one.
