Don't forget, he scratched the fairing too!kcjones said:You should read the review of the new ducati 1098 by Doug Polen in Motorcyclist. He loses the front, but saves it on his knee, sliding far enough so the front tire regains grip...he wore his knee slider through and wore a hole in his boot.ow:

Back around '89, I went around a bumpy curve on my Yamaha Radian and the back end kicked out far enough that tire squealed. I went through that corner many times after that trying to do it again but it never happened (obviously I was even less bright then). My tires were Kenda Mirages, so I shouldn't have expected them to grip.orcat said:Ok don't lie....How many of us have done that and didn't want too? I did on an old gs750 and slid for 200 feet. Never again will I go low! if I dont have to. Sean
