Just got done clear coating my tank.

The phucking Triumph emblems I have on the side of the tank are reacting to the clear coat! They're bubbling up like I sprayed paint remover on them!

CRAP!

The other decals I put on didn't do this.

CRAP!

Yeah, I'm pissed. NOW WTF?

I guess it's a good reason to replace them. I wasn't happy with the instalation anyway.

CRAP!

Damn. This was the last thing I had to do.

CRAP!

Put a dry mist coat on first!!! It's the thinners in the paint that reacts with the glue on sticker.
Yeah, yeah. You tell me that now!

I figured that out, just a little too late. I'm just not a painter.

Thanks anyway.

Cheers, mate!

I'd love to paint stuff myself, but I just don't believe it can be done without a sand blaster and proper tools. Can't fit those anywhere.

I learned a long time ago that bodywork and painting is not my forte.

If it ia not a flat surface, I can move a ripple all around a panel and finally have to start over again. And I can make lacquer run like nobody's business.

Some things I just leave to the pros.
