Those temperatures sound pretty normal to me. I doubt PC has anything to do with that. These bikes run hot.

I know next to nothing about PowerCommanders though. What year is your bike? That makes a difference in HP.

it is a 2003 955i it was maintained and broken in correctly so there is no major wear internally

In theory the 2003 should have about 118 HP at the crank bone stock. Properly set up with the configuration you mentioned and tuned with the PC I would expect about 110 peak rear wheel horsepower, and maybe 75 Ft/lbs of torque.

That's my best guess mind you, based only on what little I know about that year bike. That could be off by as much as +/- 5-8 horsepower.

Cool ride none-the-less.

found a free one on my bike as well. decided to go with tuneboy rather than messing with the PC3 since i know i'll eventually go that route sometime along the way.

There is nothing wrong with using a PCIII - especially a free one. ;D

If you modify your crank trigger pick-up mount so it will allow you to add timing advance, it can make the same peak power as a TuneBoy. The driveability will not be the same though - especially at lower rpm.
