Finally got this bastard on. It only came with puny fork clamps which were nowhere near the size of my USD forks so I made my own brackets and mounted it directly to the frame. I think I'll get some PIAA bulbs when I find some locally or a bulb goes. They seem pretty damn bright in the garage...

Kuhlka - can you shoot some side and quartering shots for me?
I'm going to do a complete photoshoot tomorrow morning or afternoon. Just need to find a good location.
AlaskaS3, what other bikes do you have in your garage? I see a bunch in your avatar.
How is the wind protection at speed? I like a mini fairing for the S3 sold by parts4nakes.com but it's $500!

2002 KTM 520SX
2001 YZ250
2004 GSXR 600
1997 Honda CBR 1000F

Right now the Honda is gone and replaced w/ Daytona 675. We also seem to have obtained a 2003 CR250R.
looks good!!! cant wait to see some more pics!!
He was referring to http://www.parts4naked.com/

The fairing he's talking about is the Roadracing Alien fairing. I got this one from Germany for $300. BUT, it was a PITA to come up with a mount for.

I'll have more photos this afternoon of the entire bike so you guys can see the side view and such.

Yep, its a quakeIII sticker. Being its a triple and I'm a hardcore gamer going to grad school for video game design (Masters of Interactive Technology), I thought it was fitting.
Quite so.

I didn't even get the triple referance.
Nice, and you keep the dual lights. What are the lamps, anyway?
H3 bulbs in projector housings. They're about as bright as the 1050's low beams. I'm going to replace the stock bulbs with PIAAs or an HID kit if it won't melt the housings...
How was wind protection last night with the new fairing?
I couldn't really tell a major difference until I was in a full tuck. Wind noise was loud in a full tuck, but the wind went right around my helmet. Wind resistance doesn't seem to be noticeable like other fairing projects I've tried. I'll have photos tonight. I've just been busy with class and chores. Charged up my camera's battery earlier.
Dang Kuhlka!

That's looking REALLY sharp! :pow:
