:sign5:i want to get arrow 3 to 1 exhaust put on my bike after i buy it but had some questions about the passenger footpegs.
looking at some of the photo's on here of s3's with after market exhaust i noticed i didn't see any passenger footpegs.( not that i would have my wife on board or anything :'(). lol that's how i convinced her to let me get the thing i told it was nice for going on weekend rides in the country). can you have passenger footpegs on them with zard or arrow exhaust? if so how to go about it?

Check out the photobucket link in my signature. The pegs in the pics are from a gsxr1000, '06 and earlier. There are quite a few pegs that will match the bolt holes on your S3.

I only took mine off because they look funny without the dual cans and I don't use them anyway.
The GSXR brackets do look heaps better with the single low pipe though.

I couldn't bring myself to not having the ability to take a girl for a ride. And the stock pegs were NOT going to cut it...

The passenger pegs are functional with both the Zard and Arrow 3:1. A lot of them come off because it looks better/cleaner without them.

I left mine on because the GF wants to ride from time to time and I'm too lazy to take them off/put them on and mess with my license plate mount.

The stock passenger pegs are located a bit high for comfort. Many of us remove them for improved looks when riding solo.

The earlier GSXR pegs or the ones on the Sprint work and look better, but only with a low mount exhaust.

FWIW - My GF is 5'2" ~50kg (Good Lord please never let her find out I just posted her weight online!) and thinks the pegs/seat are perfect. I get saddle sore before she does... Having said that her basis for comparison is somewhat limited.

I think these are the best looking. They move the pegs down and forward a bit, and they don't stick out like Dumbo ears :barf: . You gotta pay for 'em though.

I got Gixxer 1000 pegs on mine with my low mount,has dropped the height of the pegs a bit and moved them in.Haven't had a passenger on yet but i keep them on on longer trips to rest my legs on every now and then,ride on1 :beer:
