I saw someone mention that when you remove the tank (2007), the quick-release hose ends should be sealed? I've tried releasing each end of the hose, but gas just slowly pours out either way.

If I replace that hose will I be able to remove my tank without having to worry about all the gas draining out?

Under the tank, there are two vent hoses on the left, if there is any liquid leaking from there, it should be minimal.

There is also the electrical connection and the gas connector. After you release the gas connector, there will usually be a small amount of gas leaking but the valve should seal. If it's continuing to leak, it may be failing and you will need to drain the tank or position at an angle that it won't leak.
