On long rides highway rides I'll listen to the Ipod. Thru town or on the twisties I prefer the music of the Mivv (db killer removed).
THese earphones are supposed to be the dogs balls:kartstar said:I tried, but can't really hear it over the wind noise...also I haven't found earbuds worth a crap for m/c helmet yet. It seemed like a good idea, then ended up being a pain in the ass. I rather like hearing my engine, as well.

I just got flashes of the movie Iron Eagle!!!!!!!! :d: :d: :d:supergiantrobot said:i know that when i'm at the track with my car i always have the radio on even if i can't REALLY hear it over pitching the car sideways, the open wastegate, and the burning tires. If i nail a really solid run then i'll blast that song for every other run that day to keep me consistant. I tried to listen to my ipod on the S3 for a long ride once but the headphones got really uncomfortable under my helmet and i ended up pulling them out
hahahahahaahhha....awesome!!!! :lh: :beer:greenbollocks said:I just got flashes of the movie Iron Eagle!!!!!!!! :d: :d: :d:
I have a cheaper version of these:kartstar said:I tried, but can't really hear it over the wind noise...also I haven't found earbuds worth a crap for m/c helmet yet. It seemed like a good idea, then ended up being a pain in the ass. I rather like hearing my engine, as well.
Some of the headphones mentioned earlier are a bit pricey for me...I just picked up a set a couple of weeks ago from the local music store (FYE) on sale for $9.99 and they work great! They come with 3 different sizes of silicone pieces to help fitment and they seal out my helmet noise almost completely...that said, I can listen at low volume (15 % on my cheap mp3 player) and still hear the jardines.kartstar said:I tried, but can't really hear it over the wind noise...also I haven't found earbuds worth a crap for m/c helmet yet. I got the smiking buds recently and really like them. Mine do have the inline volume control, watch where you put it, mine turned down when I'd do a head check. As far as fit goes, it takes some cussin to get em to stay in when putting your helmet on, but wonce its on they're in and they're comfortable. I've been listening to a lot more music lately.milq said:Some of the headphones mentioned earlier are a bit pricey for me...I just picked up a set a couple of weeks ago from the local music store (FYE) on sale for $9.99 and they work great! The buds I bought look like these, but do not have inline volume control as advertised here:
