Beck, change it every 3000 miles, with a new filter....they are cheap. Changing every 500 miles is just throwing away perfectly good oil.

In case you didn't know, you can buy filters for the Speed Triple at any auto parts house.

You can use either Purolator Pure One PL14612 (about 2.5 inches long) or the Purolator Pure One PL14610 (about 3.25 inches long.) The PL14612 is exactly the same size as the Triumph Factory filter. You can also use these numbers to cross reference to whatever brand you want: K&N, WIX, (or Fram if you're a moron) Mazda and several other cars use the same filter so they're widely available.

This should save you about $10 a pop.

Use Ky or Astrolube, its cheaper since you change it at 500 miles only. It's also just good to have around, never enough lube.
