I grew up riding SoCal. I’ve never been on better roads, between the general condition of the roads to weather to excellent stretches of all types of riding. I live in Tennessee now, and there’s some great riding, but nothing compares to the extreme geography of West. The gas prices are a bummer, but whatever-I didn’t ever ride a bike to worry about gas mileage/prices.
