Sweet! I'm making a business trip up to the Mass. Berkshires in the middle of July, trying to work out getting my Speedy up there with me. I do miss New England - I grew up in Westchester County NY and spent several years stationed in Groton CT with the USN. Since then, been up for the now-defunct Mt. Washington hillclimb twice, Mt. Snow NORBA (mt bike) Nationals twice - I try to get up there once a year. I would move back up if the winter weren't quite so long...of course, with global climate change it may soon be the place to be!

Very nice pics - almost making me all misty...

Thanks guys. I've noticed that this site has resized my photos and made them a little pixelated.
Might be a setting in the forum software that's causing that. Wanting to lighten up a couple of your images to bring out a little more detail, I discovered that by doing a right-click save, the pictures were copied (and viewable) at the original full size w/o the pixilation and cropping you see here.

Try a different browser. Looks fine to me! (Yes the site downsizes the pics, but I see no pixillation using Safari. Try Firefox.)

Nice pics! I haven't been in Vermont since 1978, but I was just across the lake a few years ago (Ticonderoga). I used to run to Bennington (Home of Hemmings Motor News) all the time (NY7/VT9).

I went to college in Troy, NY. Some of my favorite memories were the rides through New York and New England, including a very memorable liquor run to Keene in my '66 GT Fastback.
