Spotted- Colorado

Nobody. Ok, blue one today, with a flyscreen, eastbound I70 between Kipling and Wadsworth, 1:25.

dang you saw 2 speedy's in 2 days!?! I rarely ever see any, maybe 3-4 a year.

All he said was that he saw a blue "one (1)" today. I'm sure if you look there are blue 1's everywhere!

I dunno, he said it had a flyscreen... so would that make it a blue 7? :laugh:

I'm on the road most of the day, lots of bikes here, and several good Triumph dealers.

Hey Cheap, I just got back from a rally here in Victoria....the All British Rally and there must have been at least thirty Speedies there, from the first to the last model....photos to come later in another thread.

I talked to a guy with a green '02 the other day at 24hr fitness on Hampden and Tamarac. Told him to visit this site. He said Erico Motorsports does organized rides sometimes. I plan on checking it out. It'd probably be a ton of ducati's though.

Foothills also does group rides up in the mtns in late spring - summer, lot of BMW's and Triumphs.

Post here if it's any good. Grand Prix Motorsports usually put a group together at 1.00pm on Sundays. I will probably hook up with the Foothills rides when they get going.


The guy with the '02, was he about 6'5"? I got chatting to a guy with the same bike in Evergreen last Summer.

Could be the same guy. He was taller than me and I'm 6'1". Said he used to visit TRat, but hasn't in a long time. Hopefully he'll come visit the site. Unless he goes to www.speedtriple.com like I do from time to time. Somebody ought to buy that name!

Also, it would be nice if more members would add themselves to that little map down on the left hand column.....

Between the snow and the sand on the roads I about an inch away from getting shut of the road bike and getting a CRF450R :shocker:

Actually its mostly harley riders i see that wave at me. Most sport bikes dont wave to me though. And yes i am sick of the friggin snow,rain. We need some nice weather so we can all get together and take a group ride. I live in commerce city by reunion by the way. I need to get around to putting me on the map.

Yeah, I'm ready for some decent riding weather, this winter has been too much. :finger: On the bright side the roads here are awesome when the weather cooperates.

The Harley comment stems from last weekend when I was riding with a mate on his road king. At least 10 HD riders waved at him and then quickly put their hands down when they saw me. About 6 sports bike riders ignored him and waved at me and the guys on goldwings waved at both, obvioulsy the dipolmats of the motorcycling world in CO.

I wave at anybody wearing a helmet. The side effect is that it means I don't wave at a lot of cruiser riders and teenagers.
