My favorite squid story - unfortunately it is second-hand.

A couple of weeks ago, HiVel and I go up to meet Kartstar at Barber Motorsports park. After leaving Kartstar, we visited the museum there and (as always) had a great time. While there, one of the curators there (Bud) starts mentioning the things he sees happen, and said there.

From Bud:
A Lexus SUV drives up and parks in front of the museum. The doors open and out pop four middle aged men dressed in full replica leathers - all matching each other. The squids reach into the Lexus and pull out helmet bags, withdrawing matching helmets, and carry them into the museum.

The group enters the Barber museum, and heads straight to the Ducati section (impressive in its own right). They stand around talking Ducati history, then head outside. They place their helmets back in their bags, enter the Lexus, and drive away.

For me, this is my favorite :squid: story.

Bad idea. I'd bring other Alaskans with me. We'd probably freak out at the prospect of riding on a track. We need rented R6's or something (something I could crash and not really care about). I REALLY want to see that museum, and maybe a Superbike race or something.

hah, the reference to philadelphia's south street is priceless, on any given summer weekend, you can find a row of 20 bikes with guys going from bar to bar in leathers,(bling factor) with a total mileage for the night of 12.

I remember the days when South Street had the best illegal racing in the NorthEast. When the cops showed up, everyone lefts and went over to JFK.

Not that I ever participated in such hooligan activities. ;)
