You mean it's supposed to come off...? :wave:

Just turn the key to the left till it feels like it's going to snap off while applying a little downward pressure on the back of the seat.

And good luck with your new toy!

It's fixable, my mechanic bitched about it and then fixed it for me, no more pressure needed. Already bent one key though. :violent1: I think he just slightly re-routed the cable but don't quote me on that.

I'll see if I can't fix it myself after I get it off. I got extended at work in PA for a day so 1 day more w/o my toy! :(

This site is a great resource, i can't wait to put up some pics / start adding to it!!!

On the seat there is a post with a black washer. Remove the washer and the seat will come off much easier. It seams the washer is a little bit to thick, and when the seat engages, the washer puts pressure on the mechanism which makes it hard release.

Thanks brother...thats the easiest and best fuckin tip yet...i just went out and tried it and it is a snap now...i owe ya a round!
