What I love about the S3 is it's what the Bonneville would have been with 35 years of evolution from 1972. Instead, the new Bonneville is a time warp. In the 80's full race fairings became the thing, and the brute force muscle bike died. Now they're reborn as "nakeds" primarily from European manufacturers. The Japanese, who killed the naked to begin with, are late to the party, and most don't get it.
They're trying too hard to style it. A naked bike should have: engine, frame, wheels, fork, lights, seat, tank, and bars. All functional, and the style should come from how you make it all look together. Ducati Monsters emphasize the lattice frame. S3's emphasize the engine. That Suzuki has far too much that is non-functional (or minimally functional.)
