Hey the rest of you ex-trats! I'd like a tank bag for my '05 S3, but all the ones I like are magnetic. And my gas tank is more of a fuel cell. Where can I get a decent, attractive cinch-down (i was gonna say strap-on...) tank bag to carry my hairbrush and compacts and stuff :gayaway:?

I use a universal Marsee tank bag with the the straps around some frame pieces. I had to attach the buckle on the front strap after it was threaded through the frame.

Hey Nimh - I have an SW Motech bag that locks to a ring on my fuel filler cap. It is the Bags Connection Engage Sport. Pretty good storage and is a good system for locking although the quality gets a B grade from me. The good thing is that it doesn't touch the tank at all.

hmmm.... Thanks MrB. I have the SW Motech center stand and really like it. That looks pretty nice. Not quite as much volume, but much better looking and doesn't touch the tank.
