Hi all,
I have a 2013 S3, I just wanted to know if anyone could shed some light on what the benefits of rear sets are? I have heard that depending on how they are positioned they can actually increase the safe banking angle of tyres/bike. Is this a myth or truth?

Thanks.

Rearsets when adjusted correctly, can increase ground clearance.

There are several benefits to adjustable rear sets and what your particular needs are.

1. If you are dragging factory pegs (i.e. you're a badass or just crazy), then you can raise the adjustable rear set to give additional clearance when leaned way over.
2. If you are really tall or long legged, then you can lower the rear sets to gain more comfort. Likewise if you are really short.
3. Aesthetics.... they look cooler than factory
4. Or like in my case.... you dropped the damn bike and broke one of the factory units and therefore need a replacement.
