JR, I saw you posting about getting a knightser, I could only sit on one at the locat dealer while my Cop bike was in the shop. I liked it a lot. It's cooler in person than all the pics. It felt so light under me I couldn't believe it.

Trade-in? That shit sounds like a lemon law return to me! Get your money back. They'll probably shaft you on the trade-in unless you've already got that angle covered.
yeah, i've got a lawer, from what i'm told there is no state law's for motorcycle lemon law, so it falls under federal, i've filed suit and i will win seeing as how my bike has spent more than a month in the shop for warranty work within one year. which is the federal guideline for motorcycle lemon law. the out come is a "reembursement check" and you keep the bike. so even if i trade it in, i'll still get a check in the mail, lawer said it would take awhile.

however, i need a bike now, so we'll see if i can pull the cash together. anyway i've also looked at the sv, i just don't like the riding position, don't want a sportbike, and i decided the harley just wasn't enough bang for the bike, and quite a bit more expensive than the ktm. which will probably be more fun. nice to see some of your's, looks good hairball, yeah, the 950 is nice too, but i want lighter, smaller, cheaper.....

I've never seen a KTM street bike in person, but they remind me of two wheeled pumpkins. Pumpkins don't go well with lemons.
I would have to agree... Which brings me to another reason I like supermoto's.

I couldn't stand all that orange!

Went to KTMtalk, ordered all the black plastic you see in my pic, Front & rear fenders, Mask, left & right rear shrouds... Total- $94.00

The tank shrouds were $116 ea, So I didn't bother.

I use this bike as my track bike also, If I step off the track and wad some plastic, Its not going to be a heavy hit just for plastic.

My last low side only scuffed the axle sliders, Hand protectors and the foot peg got ground a little thinner on the bottom.. (I'll take the weight loss however I can get it)

Dumping 'ol speedy huh JR? It fit you like a glove but it seems it cant stand up to duties at hand. Where is the KTM dealer in the philly area? I didn't know there was one.

Was it speeding that got you nicked by the cops? I thought it was the wheelying..that KTM wont do you any favors if you hope to keep that front wheel on the ground my friend.

Crankshaft bearing? Wow and it'll take 'til June? That sucks, the good weather seems to be upon us now; having a scoot would be nice.

yeah jas, i even tried to tell em i'ld pay another half k if they would just get it done,,, I would love to be out there with you right now, maybe we'll just have to hit up eulogy without the bikes, we can really get smashed then anyway,
this is the dealership i've been talking to, in mt. holly, in jersey,
http://www.mthollykawasaki.com/
i don't like jersey, but i think i'll get the best deal here as they sell triumphs too, and they have 8 full time mechanics. as oppose to our dealers 1 mechanic. a little farther drive doesn't bother me, i spent about an hour on the phone with the sales lady the other day, she was really cool, and after hearing my situation, said she was personally sorry for what was goin on and that i should at least have a loaner.
whatever, it'll really depend on what they give me on trade in
