ive got an sv650 AND my S3, I'm 6'2" and I fit on both, the speedy is the better fit BY FAR.... and its a good fit.

 

I had an SV1000S and now I have the S3. The S3 does have a bit more room but not much. I would try to demo a S3 to see how it fits you. You can also look at bikes like the Bandit or FZ1 that will give you a lot more room. They just arn't as cool as an S3.

rmember you can always cut off your feet, no sacrifice is too great to ride speedy

I had my seat built up & re-padded to increase the distance between the seat and pegs. Nice little hundred-dollar mod. Also prevents short folks asking me if they can ride my bike. ;D

 

If you should decide to do away with some of your height to better fit the bike, I'm accepting donations.

 

I am 1.92m so 6 foot 3 as well and this bike fits PERFECTLY, better than any Honda I've ever had.
My knees fit nicely in the "cutout" of the tank, perfectly allined with the shape!

 

6'4" 175lbs,
almost 9000 miles on speedy in 2 years.
love it.
no seat/ bar/ riser modifications, all stock.
one 400+ mile day,
most runs are 100 miles or less....

I'm 6'3" and the S3 has been by far the most comfortable "sport" bike I ahve ridden (used to ride a Honda CBR600).

My inseem is 33 so my legs are a little shorter than most guys my height.

 

Oh yeah, if you have a GF or Wife I would recomend the 120+MPH wheelies, it gets them going everytime, just make sure your leaning on the tank when you hit WOT in gears 2-4 after 7K RPM.

 

I'm 6'2" and 260lbs and to be honest I found the newer '05+ speedies a little too cramped. I've got a 34" inside leg so I'm packing a lot of torso (Basically I'm an orangutan). I decided to go for a original T300 on the basis that I got 70% of whooooosh with 150% of the gut space (and all for 40% of the cost).

 

I'm also 6'3" and all legs (36" inseam), and I think the S3 is the most comfortable street bike I've ever ridden! (I'm smaller than Spooky -- 180 pounds, so maybe it's a different story if you're a bigger guy...)

I grew up on dirt bikes so admittedly I'm used to this type of seating and handlebar position -- so much better than either repli-racers or cruisers! I did think the seat itself was a bit uncomfortable at first, but after a thousand miles I was all broken in and I absolutely love this bike! 8000 miles last year, and I can't imagine liking another bike more than the Speed Triple ever again.

You're not too tall, Time -- get one have a blast!!!

 

6'2" @ 250 lbs. No issues for me except for the stock seat was designed by a torture specialist
(I have a corbin and find it marginally more comfortable...looks a LOT better though)

I'm 6'3" also and I find my Speedy to be very comfortable. The most comfortable sportbike I've ever been on actually. Makes me feel like I'm folded into a pretzel on my old Ducati Monster.

 

6' and 220lbs. Speedy feels like home

 

I'm 6'4" and wear 36 inseams on my Levis, you'll be fine.

 

6'1", 185 pounds, 35" inseam. Leg room is a little cramped compared to a touring bike, I guess, but not pretzel-like at all. I'm very comfortable on my S3.

+1 on the suggestion to have the seat built up a little, if you must have a little extra room.
